Boudewijn De Groot - Island in the Distance (LP)

The album was originally released in 2004 and includes the songs 'Berlijn', 'Eeuwige Jeugd ' and 'De Vondeling Van Ameland'. On LP2 you can hear the two bonus tracks 'De Zwembadpas' and 'Het Einddoel' plus the live album 'Andere Tour', recorded in Koninklijk Theater Carré, in 2002. This album was only sold on CD in 2002 during the tour in question.

 'Het Eiland In De Verte' has previously only been released on vinyl as part of a box set and the live album 'Andere Tour' has never been released on vinyl. The songs 'Als Je Niet Meer Verder Kunt', 'Leonardo' and 'Kater' from the album, written for Rob de Nijs, are also not on regular albums by Boudewijn.

 This anniversary edition contains all the lyrics of 'Het Eiland In De Verte' and new liner notes by Boudewijn de Groot. In addition, this edition also includes an insert with the liner notes from the original release of both albums. The 2LP gatefold sleeve is pressed on 180 gram white vinyl in limited edition.
